PERFECT GAME CBL
Hawkeyes 5, Mohawks 4
Tynan Pedretti's second double of the game capped another come-from-behind victory for host Cooperstown, which rallied with two runs in the bottom of the ninth to beat the visiting Amsterdam Mohawks in a Perfect Game Baseball League game at Doubleday Field.
Coleman Barron greeted ninth-inning reliever Abram Williams with a triple to center field and scored on Ben Miller's one-out single to right field, tying the score at 4.
Pedretti then doubled to center, driving in Miller from first base for the victory.
The Mohawks (5-8) got home runs from Jude Vidrine and Josh Alexander en route to a 3-0 lead in the second inning. An unearned run in the second, an RBI single by Ben Manlove in the third and a homer to left by Nate Izzo in the fourth tied it at 3.
Amsterdam went ahead, 4-3, with an unearned run in the fifth.
The Hawkeyes (6-5), who rallied for their third straight late-inning victory, are at Mohawk Valley at 7:05 p.m. today.
